Conference Facilities

Carmel is ideal for organisations to hold their workshops, conferences and retreats, at a national and local level.

We offer The Horizon room as well as the Recreation Centre for:

Table Conferences (limited numbers)
Concert Style conferences for up to 120 persons
Breakaway rooms are also available

Accommodation, all meals and teas are included in the rate. Our rooms can accommodate up to 100 persons depending on willingness to share. Our dining room seats 98 guests and we are very happy to hold 2 sittings if the need arises. Larger numbers can be handled by booking space at neighbouring establishments, spending the day in conference here and enjoying thier meals with us in a second sitting.

Our quotations vary according to the duration of the stay, the size of the group, the number willing to share rooms and units, the type of rooms preferred and whether the booking is over a weekend or is mid-week. The latter is considerably cheaper.

Church Group Weekends

Many church or Christian groups choose to visit Carmel over the weekend, most of them travelling by bus. From members of such groups there flows an almost constant testimony to the fresh realizations of the Lord's presence and care, as well as to a new awareness of God's revelation of Himself, both in the created beauty of the world and in the wonder of His word.
